No Makeup Makeup Products I'm Reaching For in Spring
The no makeup makeup look embodies the freshness and comfort of Spring. With the weather warming up. The perfect makeup look for the season is lightweight while remaining buildable.
Weather has a big impact on how makeup will last you through out the day. With Spring bringing rain and shine.
No makeup makeup is forgiving enough that by the end of the day it looks worn in but not sliding off.
The elements of a no makeup makeup include a natural or radiant finish foundation. Which includes tinted moisturizers, tinted sunscreens, and skin tints to keep it lightweight. This base makeup wears off evenly through out the day without making the face look patchy. You can get away with powdering the face mid day without looking heavy.
A good primer beforehand let’s your makeup base sit on a smooth surface. While making the skin look plump and hydrated. Make sure to match your primer to skin type and concern. This step is what will lock in how the no makeup makeup wears.
If you’re forgoing a medium to full coverage foundation formula. Consider a concealer base with just your primer to even out the skin tone.
Add a brow gel and some blush, bronzer, and highlight to bring color back to the face. Without adding a lot of intensity. This step is buildable from day to night as well. Creating day to night makeup is practicing how to balance how intense the pigment is on the face.
Finish up with a good mascara that lasts you all day and a glossy lip balm and you'll be looking renewed for the season! Always take your lip balm with you for reapplication. To add a bit more definition, add a lip liner that makes the tone of your lips.

This face primer has me coming back to it no matter how far I stray. The YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer creates a soft and visibly radiant base for complexion products.
For a complete application I only need one pump for my whole face and neck. Touche Eclat Blur Primer has golden flecks in a gel like formula that gives the skin a pearl like sheen that compliments natural and radiant formulas. Playing well with cream and liquid face products as well.
Sephora Collection Concealer
This concealer has a creamy consistency formulated with skin care ingredients. The Sephora Collection Bright Future concealer applies evenly and blends out to a natural finish with minimal creasing under the eyes.
For a complete application I only need to dip in the applicator 2-3 times to spot apply. I love using this concealer with a beauty sponge to blend it out for a seamless match. This concealer works well as a stand alone product in a concealer only face routine.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
This stunner of a face palette includes 3 blushes, 1 blurring powder, 1 highlight powder, and 1 bronzer powder. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette blurs beautifully into the skin and has fine powder formulas.
A complete application requires me to only swirl my brushes in 1-2 times. The formulas are buildable and feel super silky on the skin. I prefer to use brushes when it comes to powder products because I can make the makeup product go longer. This is the perfect product to reach for when you’re doing a little bit of everything.
Milk Makeup Brow Gel
I cannot get enough of the hold on this brow gel. The applicator spoolie is small enough to shape my brows exactly how I want them. The Milk Makeup Kush Clear Brow Gel formula goes on smoothly and dries down without making the eyebrows feel crunchy.
I only need to dip the product 1 time per brow. Using the spoolie to define and shape the eyebrow without any buildup. The mini version has lasted me such a long time. It’s the perfect base for any more eyebrow makeup.
YSL Beauty Candy Glaze
I love the glossy shiny finish of this lip balm. The formula is a mix between a traditional balm with the mega shine of a gloss. YSL Candy Glaze has lip loving ingredients that plump and hydrate the lips.
This balm is the perfect sheer color or clear on the lips! It looks shiny while feeling smooth on the lips. I only need to click the balm 2-3 times for a full application that lasts me most of the day. Add a liner of your choice and it's chef's kiss!
YSL Beauty Lash Clash Mascara
This viral mascara does a bit of everything. It’s lengthening, it gives the lashes volume. This mascara holds a beautiful curl all day long! YSL Beauty's Lash Clash Mascara comes in black, blue and waterproof formula.
This mascara only takes me 1 coat to achieve the lash look for no makeup makeup. The formula is buildable for more glam makeup as well. The mascara wand perfectly coats lashes and clumps them in a way that’s super flattering on the eye.
